Vanesa Pacheco is a Bostonian Latina. She received her BA in Literature and Communications from Wheelock College and is now pursuing her MFA in Poetry at Stonecoast’s Creative Writing program at the University of Southern Maine.
Vanesa is a poet with wanderlust. Her fascination with languages and translation has inspired her to blend English and Spanish in all creative writing forms with her love for surrealism, horror, and sci-fi. Likewise, her travels around the world have led her to study literature at Oxford University and teach creative writing in Qingdao, China. She is unashamedly addicted to coffee and runs a personal blog called SignedVanesa, where she shares the odds and ends of her life. She also writes for Bustle’s Fashion and Beauty section and is a book reviewer for The Fem.
Her poetry and thoughts can also be found in Delirious Hem; The Rain, Party, and Disaster Society‘s monthly issues; Velvet-Tail; and Queen Mob’s Teahouse.
